CEO and Founder
Mr. Eckersley has worked for more than 25 years in financial services and private equity in the USA, Europe and Asia.
Prior to co-founding HAO Capital in 2006, he spent 8 years at Goldman Sachs and was an Executive Director in the Investment Management Division. Mr. Eckersley also spent 3 years as an investment professional at Charterhouse Development Capital, working on UK and European leveraged management buyouts. He also worked for Morgan Grenfell's project finance group within the merchant bank.
Mr. Eckersley is a Barrister-at-Law, holds an LL.B. from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Diplôme d'Etudes Juridiques from L'Université de Strasbourg. Mr. Eckersley also holds an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth College in the USA and is a member of the Tuck Asian Advisory Board. He is also a member of YPO Beijing.
Partner and Founder
Ms. Wong has over 15 years of private equity experience in the US and Asia, and is the primary board representative from HAO Capital to its portfolio companies. She is actively involved in strategy formulation and implementation, business development, and capital market transactions.
Prior to co-founding HAO Capital in 2006, Ms. Wong was a member of the Carlyle Group US Venture Partners and the Carlyle Group Asia Growth Equity partnership. She was also a Consultant with Arthur D. Little.
Ms. Wong graduated from MIT with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and has an MBA from Stanford University.
Ms. Wong is an active member of her community. As President of the MIT Club of Beijing, Ms. Wong received the Great Dome Award in 2012 from the MIT Alumni Association.
Mr. Li has more than 14 years of private equity and venture capital experience in China.
Prior to joining HAO Capital in 2011, he was Managing Director of Sinoway, an RMB denominated investment vehicle. Mr. Li’s investment experience spans a broad array of industries and his skills include corporate restructurings, M&A, and domestic IPOs. Prior to working in the private equity and venture capital industry, Mr. Li spent several years in futures trading.
Mr. Li graduated from Peking University with a B.A. in International Economics, and obtained an M.A. in Finance from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
